Thank you, Supernatural, for reminding me one more time why my personal canon ends with Victor's death, and picks up again in my head with him miraculously surviving, scaring the shit out of Dean when he reappears, and then making Dean wonder when the hell he became the peacemaker when Victor and Bela inevitably fight. (Sam, as always, points and laughs.)

I dealt with Lost last year because SPN was getting it so right. I dealt with SPN at the beginning of this season because Lost was getting it so right. When they both get their skank on at the same time? I cannot cope. The brotherly devotion at the heart of SPN now actually functions to irritate me in the same way that Sawyer's slow and lightly handled slide over into Big Damn Hero irritates me on Lost: if you can get this one thing so very right, how can you be made of such utter fail everywhere else?

Sigh. So it looks like I'm down to good television on hiatus (SCC), and trashy television that makes me happy all the same (Prison Break, AI, Moonlight). Anyone want to regress to their inner thirteen year-old and talk about how hot Melinda Gordon's brother is with me?
